$61 Million for Native American Groups and $75 Million for After School Enrichment in CA!!
Despite what you may have heard, the federal and state governments are not broke and continue to make millions of dollars in grant funds available to nonprofit and public agencies—for example, HUD just issued the ICDBG NOFA with $61 million available for Indian Tribes and Alaskan Native Villages (deadline 1/4/12), and the CA Department of Education has $75 million up for grabs under the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLCs) Program (notice of intent to apply deadline 10/28/11 and full deadline 12/9/11).
